If you followed my New Years Resolutions you will know that I want to take a different approach to food this year. I’m very much a lover of all things yummy but that pays a price. Yes, my waistline has increased because of it. Whilst I’m aiming for the stars weight loss wise also very aware of what my children eat. Yes, they like a little treat as do we all and I have come across a great Healthier Spreads For Kids.

I was kindly sent a few samples of the JimJams chocolate spread to try. My kids love chocolate spread so I jumped at the chance to try. Especially one that is a healthier alternative to the standard pots. I was so shocked to see how much sugar is contained in other brands. So using the JimJams spread was a no-brainer for me. The consistency is exactly the same and taste wise I cant tell the difference. From a price stance, it’s very comparable to other leading brands. My boys absolutely love it. We have had so much fun making chocolate and banana faces on their toast. It’s also perfect to add to your morning porridge. Plus to dip strawberries in for a heavenly treat.     I could do with a jar of this – I can’t buy Nutella because if I do, I will eat tonnes of it within days!

    Awesome. I can see some kids going mad for this. I would be too tempted by Nutella though… i’m a chocolate monster!

    An alternative to Nutella is exactly what i’ve been after! The sugar (and palm oil) is just too much for me to justify.. no matter how much I love it

    I have not heard of this brand before but I am all for healthier alternatives so will check it out next time I am shopping.

    Fabulous! If it tastes the same, is a comparable price AND is healthier – JimJams sounds like a no brainer choice to me! Loving the cute banana toast faces too!

    I’ve tried Jim Jams before and I love it! It basically tastes like Nutella but with way less sugar 😀
