I’m going to try and start a series on the blog which will hold me semi accountable towards reaching my end goal weight loss. I have tried and failed in the past to get on top of my weight, but I’m such a foodie and temptation always overtakes despite 2 years ago having a PT and training 3 times a week. My hope is that keeping a weekly diary I will try harder as well as being able to look back in time and see what has worked and what hasn’t. My aim to be very honest as well, I’m only kidding myself if I say I have been good when I haven’t. So this weeks #1weightlossdiary Weight Loss At Home is beginning with my starting weight.
Weight Loss At Home
I knew the first instalment wasn’t going to be a good one. I have eaten my body weight in sweets, chocolate, crisps and dips over the festive period adding to that lashings of Baileys lol. I’m also doing my Weight Loss At Home, I did go to a group last year but the organiser absolutely tortured me via text so it put me off going back to class again. Hopefully with a positive approach, limiting sweet items and making good choices coupled with some exercise will be enough.
I’m starting my journey at 13stone 9lbs. I’m 5ft10inches and at the minute a big size 14. My aim is to get to 11 stone as my first goal and then work from there. Since hitting 40 I’m very aware that I really do need to look after myself more. I have 6 children who need me and they need an active mama, not a sluggish one. I also plan on getting back into training at the gym, when I can get, for days that it’s not possible I hope to get a walk in to raise the heart rate. I’m also making sure I have plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit in the house and healthy snacks to stop me grabbing chocolate.
Well, this is my plan, I hope that I can stick to it and reach my goals. I will be back on Monday next week with my next weigh in and food diary from this week, including ay fitness that I have done. Is anybody else starting on a more healthier way of living for 2018?
